The Bartending Training Institute was a wonderful experience. Lou is a great teacher, but be ready to leave your ego at the door. Cindy was very helpful in letting students know about job opportunities and getting us gigs. They got me a gig at a private party right when I graduated, so the degree is already paying off. If you want to learn how to be a mixologist and have fun, I definitely recommend the Bartending Training Institute.
It was such a fun experience to be taking my bartending course here! I learn a lot thanks to Lou and of course got certified as a bartender, thanks to Cindy for all the help as well! I was working full time, with two kids, attending CSUN, and a soccer mom if I have time to accomplish it so can you!
Cindy, Lou, and Mr. G offer amazing, informative courses that really prepare you for bartending work. The setup of the classes is intuitive and hands-on. They’re very quick to help you get interviews. The classes are flexible and allow you to learn at a great pace! Would highly recommend if you want to feel well-equipped to be a bartender.

Lou is the best Mixologist that has ever lived and he will challenge, teach, and make you the best at this craft. Cindy is an Angel who will help facilitate your instruction and as a team, they are both there every step of the way. I was able to accept a job right after graduating thanks ONLY to this school’s help and I couldn’t be more than grateful. They have been in the business for decades and have the accolades to prove it. Show up, put in the work, and you won’t regret it. This place is amazing! You learn over 200 different cocktail recipes and the practical knowledge on how you prepare and serve every one of them. Louis is an old school, New York bartender with the experience and personality to deliver lessons you will never forget. They can also set you up for state and TIPS certification as well as job opportunities once you graduate. If you're looking to start a new career, this is going to be your first stop. I highly recommend it to everyone.
